.Keeping your boat looking new requires a little maintenance.
Weather you do it your self or hire a professional, Here are some tips to help along the way

The importance of maintaining your boat will Prolong the life of the gel coat or paint and will keep a higher resale value.

It will also help prevent severe damage beneath the surface.
Having a experienced detailer will allow you to enjoy your boat without the hassle of having to clean it yourself after each use.
A experienced detailer can detect small things such as failing caulk or stress cracks that can cause big problems later if not addressed promptly.
Tips to help your detail job last:

Wash-Weekly, Bi Weekly, or Monthly (depending on use)

DO NOT USE HARSH CHEMICALS, DE-GREASERS OR DISH SOAP THESE WILL STRIP YOUR WAX.

Wax as needed depending on condition of boat and how it's stored.

If left out in elements or if your gel coat is weathered , waxing every 3 months is recommended

If kept outside but not in direct sun wind rain ect. & Gel coat is in good condition, waxing every 6 months is recommended.

If your boat is stored in doors and Gel coat is in great condition, Waxing 1 time a year is recommended.

Keeping your boat waxed properly will reduce the need for compound or wet sanding which causes gel coat to be thinned each time & eventually will require a new paint job which is very expensive.

Keep all plastics and vinyl treated to keep soft and reduce cracking.

Keep zippers, snaps, & hinges lubricated.
Keep Stainless rust free and waxed
Keep Aluminum protected ( ONCE SEVERELY OXIDIZED IT IS VERY HARD TO BRING BACK TO A LIKE NEW CONDITION & CAN BECOME VERY EXPENSIVE)
